On the 18th of Aug 1929, 19 female pilots took off from Santa Monica Airport in the first ever Women's National Air Derby. The race lasted 9 days, ending in Cleveland, Ohio. To celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the event, The Los Angeles 99s will be recreating the first leg by flying from Santa Monica Airport to San Bernardino Airport. We are inviting all aviation enthusiasts to join us in celebrating this historic day - come and meet the pilots and watch the airplanes take to the sky.

Pilots wishing to participate in the Derby, please register HERE!

The entry fee is $35 per person. The entry fee includes light breakfast at KSMO and lunch at KSBD. The closing date for entries is midnight, Aug 14.
